JOIN THE CHAIN!
Join The Climate Chain on Sunday, June 23, 2024! We join forces and draw a red line along the Dutch coastline. Together we form a human chain and demand faster action against disruptive climate change. In this way, we showcase the broad support for more and faster climate action. A majority of Dutch people spoke out in favor of more climate policy in 2023, and demand more action from the government.
What?
The longest human chain in the Netherlands ever: the largest connection of people in the Netherlands for more climate action.
Why?
Time is running out. The earth is warming up. People, plants and animals are threatened by increasingly extreme weather conditions. Dutch climate policy is inadequate to do our part to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees and offers too little protection for biodiversity. Despite all our great intentions, we still do too little, while we can do much more!
For whom?
For everyone who wants more and faster action to prevent disruptive climate change.
